保偏起偏器是一個兩端口無源器件。它具有體積小、重量輕、與光纖系統(tǒng)兼容性強(qiáng)、消光比高等優(yōu)點(diǎn)。它廣泛應(yīng)用于光纖放大器、光纖系統(tǒng)測試和通信系統(tǒng)，是光纖系統(tǒng)中產(chǎn)生偏振光的關(guān)鍵光學(xué)無源器件。
